What counts as a training? What kind of safety gear or personal protective equipment (PPE) is reimbursable?
-
Examples of safety gear and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) include:

Ask! The purpose of KY GreenWorks is to reduce barriers for anyone entering a green industry career. The best way to learn more is to get in touch with the team - email info@kygreenworks.org or sign up at bit.ly/greenworksform
Why is there a geographic restriction on reimbursements?
KY GreenWorks is funded by a Department of Labor Workforce Opportunities for Rural Communities grant, and therefore prioritizes serving “rural” or “economically distressed” counties in Kentucky. The western counties are part of the Delta Regional Authority, and the eastern counties are part of the Appalachian Regional Commission.
We welcome future opportunities and partnerships to support green industry statewide — reach out!
